Subject: Howdy, campers! - Received 8/9/06 12:03 PM PDT

Camp Hyrule 2006 begins the morning of Monday August 14, and here at
Nintendo Headquarters we're getting really excited about what we're certain
will be the BEST CAMP EVER!

This year, each and every registered camper will automatically be entered
in a sweepstakes to win a Wii console! We’ll randomly select one camper
during the Camp Hyrule 2006 Closing Ceremonies, and as soon as Wii is
released it will shipped to that camper’s home. The official sweepstakes
rules are included at the bottom of this e-mail.

You have been assigned to Cabin #6, and your lead Cabin Counselors are
NOA_Teragram and NOA_Zach (NOA stands for Nintendo of America). Camp
Hyrule begins August 14 at 9:00 am Pacific Time, and ends the evening of
August 18.

When you click "Enter Camp" at www.camphyrule.com on Monday morning, the
first thing you'll see is the Camp Hyrule map. You can explore tons of chat
rooms, bulletin boards and other fun stuff by exploring this map. While
you're exploring, be sure to visit the Trading Post to see a complete list
of Camp Hyrule activities each day.

Here is your Cabin Chat schedule (all times are Pacific Daylight-Savings Time).

10:00am - 11:00am, Monday through Friday

and

4:00pm - 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday

To access your Cabin Chat, click on the picture of the cabins on the main
Camp Hyrule map. You can chat at Camp Hyrule whenever it's open, but you
should be sure to show up for at least one of your Cabin Chats every day.

By participating in Camp Hyrule activities throughout the week, you can
earn points for your cabin. You can tell which cabin is in the lead by
checking the Leaderboard. On Friday, the Camp Directors will announce
which cabins end up on top. The contest is pretty much just for bragging
rights, but the First, Second, and Third-place cabins will win signature
files and desktop wallpapers.

On the first day of camp, you'll decide on a name for your cabin during
the first cabin chat of the day. Also, everyone in your cabin will have the
chance to design an official cabin flag.

Subject: Camp Hyrule 2006 is Now Underway - Received 8/14/06 7:21 AM PDT

Hey there campers!

Welcome to the first day of Camp Hyrule 2006!

Firstly, we'd like to thank each and every one of you for attending Camp
Hyrule 2006. This is Nintendo's biggest online event of the year, and
it's thanks to dedicated campers like you that this event is such a huge
success year after year.

When you get to camp, you'll notice that Camp Hyrule has been moved to
the outermost reaches of the galaxy. We know that the vast expanses of
space aren’t generally associated with summertime fun, but don’t worry –
we have you covered with the Lake Webaconda biosphere.

Don't forget! Today is the day that you and your cabin-mates can name your
cabin. Bring your ideas to your first Cabin Chat of the day to vote for
the best name. By naming your cabin, you'll earn FIVE POINTS for your cabin.

Another thing you can do today is design your official cabin flag. If you'd
like to participate in this activity, create an image 200 (w) x 150 (h)
pixels formatted as a jpg. Visit the Trading Post for instructions about how
to submit your design. Camp Directors will select the best flag, and post
it on the flagpole outside of your cabin. Once your flag is flying, you'll
earn TEN POINTS for your cabin.

As you can imagine, we’ve been working extremely hard all year long to move
Camp Hyrule into outer space. It costs us a pretty penny, but we’re
extremely pleased with how it’s turned out. Camp Hyrule veterans can
probably guess why we decided to make the move. Each year, someone – or
something – decides to sabotage Camp Hyrule. We moved to outer space this
year to avoid these types of headaches, and we’re not quite sure whether or
not our hard work has paid off.

Unfortunately, the gravity generator located in the center of Camp Hyrule is
missing four of its key components. We haven’t ruled out foul play, but
we’re sincerely hoping that we can blame this circumstance on the meteor
shower that’s currently raining down on Camp Hyrule. Hey, you can’t blame us
for the weather! At any rate, here are the pieces that are missing from the
gravity generator:

1. Multi-Cell Quad Filter
2. Pulse Oscillator
3. Radio Diffusion Dome
4. Geodetic Stabilizer

Because of the damage to the gravity generator, various Camp Hyrule
installments have floated out of range. The primary planets and cabins are
still in place, but some very important locations such as the Amphitheater
are no longer in our gravity field.

Before the meteor shower can do more damage, we need your help to save Camp
Hyrule from the storm. Click on “Meteor Shower!” on the main map to help us
stop the meteors from wrecking Nintendo Power HQ and the all-important cabin
complex.

If you need help, be sure to visit the First Aid Hut. Thanks, and try to
have some fun today, meteor shower or no meteor shower!
