2K3 Journal
Saturday before camp (8/9/03)
3 people or so at CH3K have reported that they haven't received their confirmation-type emails yet. I decided to do a little research on the matter to find out what the heck is going on. I asked people who had gotten their emails what time they received them as well as their cabin numbers, and compared all the info. There was a pattern. It would appear that earlier numbered cabins got their emails first and that the people who still haven't gotten their emails might be in higher numbered cabins(8, 9, and 10). A very basic pattern.
Here is the chart I have configured so far:
legendsofzelda2000 got his email on 8/8/03 at 3:44 PM PST and is assigned to Cabin 1.
Swimmer got his email on 8/8/03 at 3:46 PM PST and is assigned to Cabin 1.
ZergonaLeash got his email on 8/8/03 at 3:52 PM PST and is assigned to Cabin 3.
Nin10dude91 got his email on 8/8/03 at 3:54 PM PST and is assigned to Cabin 3.
I(NintendoFreak) got my email on 8/8/03 at 3:59 PM PST and am assigned to Cabin 5.
Luigi2 got his email on 8/8/03 at 4:00 PM PST and is assigned to Cabin 6.
EDIT: w00t! Even if you didn't get your email, you're still going! No thanks to the research I did. There still isn't any explanation to why the emails weren't sent/received, but, it's the end of the day and I discovered a thread on the Official Zelda Forums explaining that if you signed up, you should be able to log in and when you do, you'll be able to figure out what cabin you're in. ;)
It's Day 2 and I never bothered to write here yesterday and I don't think I will for the rest of the week... Sorry, I just don't feel like writing after a "long day at camp..." ;P
It's July 5, 2005, and I just finished updating the Pre-Registration area for 2005... I was then looking through the site and making sure everything looked right... And for some reason I remembered when they had a Mario Golf: Toadstool Tournament code in 2003 just for Camp Hyrule. You would input it into the game and play a special "Camp Hyrule Cup," and then after you were done, the game would give you a lenghty code to input into the site... The site could interpret the code as a number under, on, or above par. And the player who got the best score would get points for his or her cabin.... I remember renting Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour that week just to play. I also rememember that people shared codes with other people in their cabin and NOA Andy decided to just not count the whole thing for points because of that. Anway... Just because I don't know where else to put it, here it is: In "Contests," select "Password Tournament" and enter "OEKW5G7U," without the comma or quotes.
